Brenda has been practising Iyengar Yoga for 22 years and teaching
for 17. She gained her introductory certificate in 1995 and
is now studying for her senior certification.
Brenda is a regular visitor to the Ramamani Iyengar Yoga memorial
Institute in Pune, India, where she is taught by Geeta and Prashant
Iyengar. Her most recent visit being in 2007 where she had the
good fortune to spend five months training with the Iyengars,
she is the only teacher from the UK who has been allowed to
do this.
She has also completed a Remedial course with Stephanie Quirk
and will be taking more of these courses in 2009. Stephanie
Quirk has worked extensively with the Iyengars for 15 years
and is based in Pune.
