Beginners / Level 1:
no prior experience of yoga necessary, but also suitable for those with a little experience
Level 1 - 2: for those who have been practising for at least 6 months
Level 2: for those who have been practising for at least 1 - 2 years
Mixed Level: a general class, suitable for all levels of ability / experience, including beginners

Useful Information

  • Do not eat heavily for at least 2 hours before class
  • Wear comfortable clothing that does not restrict movement
  • Pregnant women should always inform their teacher. Our classes are not usually suitable for pregnant women, except for the antenatal class
  • Please inform your teacher before starting class if you have any injury or health condition including heart problems, diabetes, menieres disease, detached retina, HIV, MS, epilepsy, petit mal, cancer/benign tumours or if you have recently had an operation
  • All classes are barefoot, please leave shoes upstairs ~ thank you
  • Do not be late: please try and arrive 5 - 10 minutes before the class starts
  • The nearest tube station is Angel (10 minutes walk, past Sainsburys). Highbury and Islington station is also nearby. Yogabase is situated between Richmond Avenue and Barnsbury Street
